In early October 2005, Guatemala was hit very hard by Hurricane Stan. Villages were completely wiped out, mudslides occurred wiping out homes and lives of the people of Guatemala.
The numbers rose daily of those who were killed and missing due to this devastating hurricane that ripped through Guatemala and other Central American countries. Most of the damage was on the coastline from the southern coast and western highlands.
Roads were washed out, families separated, homes gone... absolutely devastating.
One of our attorneys' asked our agency to please send down medicines, water and supplies for the poor people who lost everything. We sent our attorney a large monetary donation for her to purchase what she felt was best needed for the victims of this horrific hurricane as our hearts were shattered due to all this devastation.
Our agency believes in giving back to the country who gives us our most precious gifts - our beautiful children.
The photo to the left is what our attorney purchased to distribute among the poor people in Guatemala.(she filled up two trucks). Some of the items purchased were medicines, mattresses, diapers, toilet tissue, blankets, baby clothing, formula, water, etc. We continuously send down monetary donations to help those who need it most.
